Private Conversation with Conchita; Week 0 late Friday
[After the announcements and death of Beatrice, Mitsuko calls her roommate back to their bedroom. That hidden food she gathered so carefully earlier in the week probably was going to be eaten soon but, well. If that's what it takes to get her alone for a few minutes? That's good enough. They had things to discuss: important things that may or may not include murder and eating.
After they get into Bird 112, Mitsuko shuts the door behind them. Mitsuko's almost depressed attitude shifts into a more serious tone when the door closes.]
Lady Conchita, I didn't want to say this in front of the others but I think you're the one who thinks most like me.
[She sighs, raising her shoulders.]
Taking away the body like that was a waste. She always smelled of smoke and wine but that spirit of hers as just as much of a seasoning as any spice.
[There actually is a bit of sorrow creeping back into her voice.]

Is that so? How interesting. I'd not have pegged you for a cannibal.
[ Not that she minds, but it's interesting. ]

Isn't the very definition of cannibalism 'eating someone else of your species'? I haven't done that.... Though I'd have a hard time convincing anyone that I'm not one in my current state.
[Beat.]
That Chavez bitch is somehow keeping me from accessing my true form. Probably to keep things fair. For the sake of simplicity, just consider me a werewolf if you know what those are.

[ You won't freak out on her. ]
no subject
[Do you catch her drift?]
no subject
[ Bitter? Maybe a bit. ]
But I suppose you had a purpose in mentioning this?

Fear, Lady Conchita, can make for an interesting flavor. With a couple more deaths, their fear and determination will make them all taste wonderful.
[Yet another shrug.]
I do. I suggest that we work together. Playing along with Chavez's game is humiliating but if we bide our time we might be able to turn this into an advantage.
no subject
[ Hm. A good proposal. ]
Yes, yes. People playing along creates complacency. Complacency means that mistakes are made.
[ All they need is one. ]

[She reaches out a hand, as if offering it for a handshake.]
If we can bide our time, to let a few fall... Well. By the time we know it, we could be knocking at Miss Chavez's doorstep itself.
[Mitsuko gives a hearty laugh.]
She looks stringy but I can't help but wonder what kind of flavor a crazy bitch like her has.
no subject
[ She will take that hand and shake it. How interesting. ]
no subject
[Her shake is firm but brief. Best not to give too much. Conchita seems like a person she can't just steamroll.]
We're a pair of foxes who just got let out in the hen house.
no subject
[ She laughs a bit. Oh, this will be fun. ]

The greatest feast we've ever taken part in~ Ah, I'm just getting excited from the very thought!
